Meet Ritzy
I am a dancer, singer and actress with a special passion for choreography and teaching arts students of all ages. I am now based in New York City, but I am first and foremost a proud St. Louisan (Let’s Go Blues!). In my spare time you can find me reading, watching Disney movies, listening to Taylor Swift and spending time with my sweet pup, Mocha.

My Story
My passion began at age three with my first dance class at Jan’s Dance Studio in Chatham, IL. Under the direction of Janet Burghart and Gretchen Burghart-Bice, I trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary and musical theatre dance for fifteen years and danced competitively for twelve years. I also studied with the Ruth Page Civic Ballet, River North Dance Chicago and the Joffrey Ballet Center.
In 2022, I graduated from Oklahoma City University with my B.S. in Dance Pedagogy. There, I trained under the direction of Jo Rowan at the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment. My coursework included Dance History, Anatomy, Dance Studio Management and Entertainment Contracts in addition to my dance and vocal technique classes. I was also an active member of several student organizations and held many positions of leadership. My proudest achievement is representing the Northeast region of Missouri at Miss Missouri through the Miss America Organization. Competing for the first time at the age of 23 gave me the courage to finally pursue another long-standing passion: writing.
That same year, I published my children’s book My Pink Ribbons, an educational story inspired by my mother's and grandmother’s battles with breast cancer. Since then, I have spoken to hundreds of students around the midwest about women’s health, utilizing the arts as a tool for learning and finding faith and courage in the face of adversity.
After a six month contract at Walt Disney World as a member of the Disney College Program, my heart has now led me to the heart of New York where I am auditioning and performing as much as I possibly can. I am also continuing my love of teaching in a new and rewarding way: as a ballet instructor with Tutu School. I am grateful for the many opportunities that have blessed me and I look forward to the challenges and lessons to come!
